IT Administrator

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage on-premises IT infrastructure with VMware-virtualized servers, 120 clients, and 300 users across 10 VPN sites
• ▹Install and configure local IT systems and hardware
• ▹Set up and administer virtualized environments (VM hosts, NAS, VLAN)
• ▹Create IT system concepts (hardware/software, networks, virtualized environments, databases, operating systems)
• ▹Advise and support users with IT issues (1st level)
• ▹Procure necessary IT components
• ▹Analyze and resolve system software and network faults
• ▹Develop, document, and implement IT security policies (in line with GDPR and ITIL)
• ▹Collaborate with external data protection officers and IT service providers
• ▹Set up and optimize Active Directory
• ▹Set up and operate a mail server

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT systems integration specialist) or comparable qualification
• ▹Experience in IT administration and system support
• ▹Knowledge of IT security and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)
• ▹Structured, solution-oriented working style
