Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and enhance embedded software for innovative energy systems
• ▹Create and maintain requirements, architecture, and interface documentation
• ▹Take responsibility for software architecture and software design
• ▹Develop hardware-level software and drivers in C
• ▹Integrate models and control functions from MATLAB/Simulink
• ▹Perform software and hardware integration as well as fault analysis

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in electrical engineering, information technology, computer engineering, or a comparable field
• ▹Several years of professional experience in hardware-level software development
• ▹Very good embedded programming skills in C
• ▹Experience with bare-metal systems or real-time operating systems (e.g. FreeRTOS) and version control systems such as Git
• ▹Very good German and good English skills, written and spoken

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of controlling electric drives and motors
• ▹Knowledge of power electronics and drive technology
