IT System Engineer – Infrastructure/Server

Responsibilities

• ▹Planning, installing and configuring server systems (physical and virtual)
• ▹Managing and optimizing Windows servers
• ▹Planning and taking responsibility for infrastructure and cloud projects and migrations
• ▹Planning, configuring, maintaining and further developing IT infrastructures
• ▹Supporting and maintaining storage solutions and planning efficient backup concepts
• ▹Creating server documentation and operating instructions

Requirements

• ▹Degree or vocational training in information technology
• ▹Several years of professional experience in system administration in a Windows environment
• ▹Experience with cloud technologies (M365, Azure, Exchange Online)
• ▹Solid knowledge of Windows server operating systems and virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V)
• ▹Knowledge of backup and storage technologies (e.g. Veeam, SAN/NAS)
• ▹Experience planning and implementing cloud and hybrid projects
• ▹Negotiation-level (at least C1) German and English skills
