System Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Administer and operate the server, virtualization and cloud infrastructure
• ▹Install, configure, maintain and monitor physical and virtual systems (Windows Server, Linux Server, VMware, Azure)
• ▹Set up, operate and optimize the VMware vSphere environment and storage systems
• ▹Perform backup and restore processes and ensure disaster recovery
• ▹Analyze and resolve issues in the systems and virtualization environment

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree or vocational training in Information Technology
• ▹Several years of experience as a System Engineer operating complex IT infrastructures
• ▹Strong knowledge of Windows Server/clients, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory and standard tools (e.g. Veeam)
• ▹Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere) and administering server, storage and backup systems
• ▹Negotiation-level (at least C1) German and English
