Junior Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Work within the shared frontend codebase and contribute to the monorepo that powers the iOS, Android, Web and Desktop apps, with a focus on efficiency and code reuse
• ▹Participate in the full feature lifecycle: help shape requirements, build, test, ship and monitor your work
• ▹Develop an eye for code quality and maintainability
• ▹Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles
• ▹Learn from your colleagues and share your own knowledge, taking part in honest, mutual feedback

Requirements

• ▹Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals
• ▹Some hands-on experience with React or React Native, through coursework, personal projects, internships or prior work
• ▹A developing understanding of state management concepts in frontend applications
• ▹An eye for detail
• ▹Great communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Exposure to TypeScript
• ▹Personal or open-source projects built with React or React Native
• ▹Ongoing or completed CS education
