Software Developer in the Defense Industry

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop advanced system solutions for Sweden's defense and total defense
• ▹Work on critical systems in communication, command support and sensors, where cybersecurity, reliability and real-time requirements are central
• ▹Cover the whole development chain, from design and implementation to testing, verification and documentation
• ▹Contribute to technology choices and architecture in complex, long-term projects
• ▹Develop robust software that meets high technical, regulatory and security requirements
• ▹Use AI-assisted development, automated testing and intelligent development tools in development, analysis, testing and documentation

Requirements

• ▹At least five years of software development experience in C++, preferably in embedded or real-time systems
• ▹Good experience working in a Linux environment
• ▹Experience of the whole development chain, from design and implementation to testing, verification and documentation
• ▹Ability to develop robust solutions in technically complex environments
• ▹Good communication skills in Swedish and English
• ▹Swedish citizenship and the ability to undergo and pass a security clearance with a registry check
• ▹Curiosity about how AI is changing software development

Nice to have

• ▹Previous experience from the defense sector
• ▹Experience with Ada
• ▹Experience with unit, integration and system testing
• ▹Experience in requirements elicitation and analysis
• ▹Experience in model-based development or systems work
