IT Technician, Secure Network (Windows Servers)

Responsibilities

• ▹Support and maintain the servers and related support systems
• ▹Ensure the server environment works correctly and efficiently for users
• ▹Solve technical problems and implement improvements together with team members and external partners
• ▹Produce and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• ▹University education, preferably in systems science or computer science (or other education combined with experience the agency deems relevant)
• ▹Several years of experience in a data centre environment at an authority, other public body or large organisation
• ▹Experience with VMware products, e.g. ESXi and VMware vCenter
• ▹Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation
• ▹Good written and spoken Swedish
• ▹Good written and spoken English
• ▹Knowledge of PowerShell
• ▹Meet the agency's requirements for suitability, security and confidentiality; some positions require security vetting and Swedish citizenship

Nice to have

• ▹Training in specific IT infrastructure areas, e.g. relevant product training
• ▹Experience handling security issues
• ▹Experience of enterprise IT environments
• ▹Experience with Microsoft infrastructure services
• ▹Knowledge of networking, communications technology and storage solutions
• ▹Knowledge of HPE SimpliVity HCI
• ▹Knowledge of ITIL
