Solution Architect for a Government Agency

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and quality-assure solution architecture in projects and operations
• ▹Translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
• ▹Analyse functional and non-functional needs at strategic, tactical and operational level
• ▹Lead the development of solutions in HR, ERP, integration and information management
• ▹Handle complex technical dependencies, risks and architecture choices
• ▹Prepare and present decision material for steering and decision-making forums
• ▹Ensure that solutions follow the target architecture, standards and business goals
• ▹Document and communicate architecture deliverables to different audiences
• ▹Represent solutions in architecture forums and other steering forums
• ▹Quality-assure architecture proposals and, when needed, coach architects and technical specialists
• ▹Collaborate with project managers, domain architects and development teams

Requirements

• ▹University education of at least 120/180 credits in IT, or at least 25 years of work experience in IT
• ▹At least 15 years of architecture experience, of which at least 10 years as solution architect
• ▹At least 8 years of experience leading architecture work and representing solutions in architecture or decision-making forums
• ▹At least 4 years of experience contributing to procurement of IT solutions in the public sector
• ▹At least 4 years of experience in integration work related to ERP systems as solution architect
• ▹At least 4 years of experience in solution architecture for HR and ERP systems
• ▹At least 2 years of experience in producing solution architecture and introducing AI solutions

Nice to have

• ▹At least 4 years of experience in at least two procurements under LOU or LUF of IT solutions in the public sector
• ▹At least 4 years of experience in solution architecture for Unit4 ERP OnPremise
• ▹At least 4 years of experience in solution architecture for education systems
