Backend Engineer, IAM

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and ship backend services powering Reddit experiences
• ▹Build consumer IAM systems for Reddit's engineering organization and millions of daily users
• ▹Create a more performant, scalable, higher-quality IAM architecture
• ▹Select and execute high-leverage projects with the team
• ▹Work with product management, security, client and backend teams on the IAM vision and roadmap

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience designing and developing distributed backend systems
• ▹IAM backend experience in authorization or authentication
• ▹Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (preferably Go)
• ▹Capability with cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, GCP)
