Backend Engineer - Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect, design, and develop highly scalable and reliable backend systems and frameworks
• ▹Build and maintain core platform infrastructure supporting products company-wide
• ▹Drive engineering and coding best practices, setting standards for code reviews
• ▹Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps
• ▹Proactively identify technical debt and architectural bottlenecks
• ▹Mentor fellow engineers on platform and backend topics

Requirements

• ▹3-7 years of backend engineering experience
• ▹Proven experience building scalable, distributed backend systems
• ▹Strong programming skills in Go, Java, or Python
• ▹In-depth understanding of system architecture and core infrastructure components
• ▹Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• ▹Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, and caching strategies
• ▹Solid grasp of code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and documentation
• ▹Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• ▹Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru
