Senior Full Stack Developer (Java+React)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain full stack applications using React.js on the frontend and Java Spring Boot on the backend
• ▹Build, enhance and maintain REST APIs and integrations between internal and external systems
• ▹Contribute across the software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing and release
• ▹Perform incident investigation, root cause analysis and support critical production environments
• ▹Apply software engineering best practices: code quality, unit and integration testing, debugging and secure coding
• ▹Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and release management
• ▹Support planned deployments and take part in on-call production support when required

Requirements

• ▹University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• ▹3+ years of experience in software engineering or full stack development
• ▹Frontend: React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• ▹Backend: Java, Spring Boot, OOP fundamentals and SOLID principles
• ▹REST API design and consumption, API integrations
• ▹SQL and relational databases, RDBMS tools such as SQL Server
• ▹Testing and debugging: unit tests, integration tests, code quality best practices
• ▹Authentication and authorization concepts, including OpenID Connect, and secure coding practices
• ▹Tools: IntelliJ IDEA / VS Code, Postman, Git, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, MS Office
• ▹Professional English C1 (spoken and written), mandatory
• ▹Lisbon/Portugal-based; valid work permit or EU/Schengen nationality required
• ▹Willingness for on-call support and availability for planned deployments during evenings and weekends

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in production support, incident management and Agile delivery
• ▹Experience in Banking or Financial Markets
• ▹Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git
• ▹Azure Cloud concepts and event-driven architecture concepts
• ▹French and/or Dutch
• ▹Experience in regulated environments (e.g. Financial Services)
