Senior/Staff Java FullStack Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Be involved in all areas of delivery, mentoring and inspiring the development team with technical gravitas
• ▹Take ownership of code from development to deployment and maintenance
• ▹Diagnose production issues and devise solutions
• ▹Be an integral part of solutions design and implementation
• ▹Challenge business requirements to ensure the best possible outcome
• ▹Drive adoption of new technologies to deliver business value
• ▹Contribute to shaping the online technology roadmap
• ▹Conduct technical interviews within your area of expertise

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 7 years of experience with Java/Kotlin, including the latest versions
• ▹Experience with TypeScript
• ▹Experience with React / Next.js
• ▹Experience with popular web frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data Flow or Micronaut)
• ▹Knowledge of architectural styles: microservices, web services, SOA, and API protocols: GraphQL Federation, REST API
• ▹API management experience (e.g. Apigee)
• ▹Monitoring and observability experience: OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace or similar tools
• ▹Experience with unit testing, integration testing and test-driven development
• ▹Cloud technology experience: Azure or AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
• ▹Database experience: MongoDB, MySQL
• ▹Experience with application lifecycle management tools: Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, NexusPro or similar
• ▹Knowledge of agile frameworks and practices: Scrum/Kanban, user stories, BDD/TDD, DevOps, CI/CD, pair programming
• ▹Proficiency applying design patterns for scalable, maintainable solutions
• ▹Fluency in English
• ▹Mandatory to be located in Portugal

• ▹Background in e-commerce/retail would be appreciated
