Senior Build Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Performance regression detection: per-PR and nightly measurement of KPIs (startup, upload, print generation, crash rate) in CI, with alerting on regression
• ▹Rebuild the systemtest layer on the PreForm Local API, driving end-to-end scenarios headlessly through PreForm Server
• ▹Run large batches of real customer models through slicing and support generation and diff results against baselines
• ▹Crash intelligence: Sentry triage, trending, root-cause attribution and crash-reproduction harnesses
• ▹Test infrastructure stewardship: print regression baselines, CI flake, test runtimes, golden-file management

Requirements

• ▹C++ proficiency: write integration and system tests against PreForm internals
• ▹Python for tooling and harnesses
• ▹CI and automation depth: Jenkins, test parallelization, flake management, baseline/golden-file testing strategies
• ▹Observability instinct: Sentry, Amplitude, crash and performance dashboards
• ▹Mid-to-senior level: able to define the strategy independently and build it
