Golang Engineer - SRE Engineering Productivity

Responsibilities

• ▹Review and contribute to specifications and implementations written by other team members
• ▹Design and develop features, feature tests, and solutions
• ▹Fix bugs and refactor code as needed
• ▹Work with Arista's engineers to identify and fix bottlenecks in workflows, tooling, and infrastructure
• ▹Provide support for tools and infrastructure to Arista's development team

Requirements

• ▹BS Computer Science + 3 years experience, MS Computer Science + 2 years, PhD Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• ▹Knowledge of Go, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java
• ▹Knowledge of Linux (or UNIX)
• ▹Understanding of operating systems, networking, or distributed systems
• ▹Applied understanding of software engineering principles
• ▹Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• ▹Ability to design solutions and implement features independently
• ▹Ability to work in small teams
