Responsibilities

• ▹Own the testing strategy for your areas: decide which validation happens at which layer (unit, component, integration, API, golden, E2E, accessibility, performance, security, manual, exploratory)
• ▹Join discovery and specification reviews early: clarify assumptions, surface edge cases, identify risks and dependencies
• ▹Design test cases as part of feature development: user journeys, happy paths, edge cases, error handling, recovery, regression
• ▹Enable engineers to own their part of quality: provide test suites, regression packs, environments and mock data
• ▹Execute prepared cases in a structured way plus mandatory exploratory testing
• ▹Maintain a living view of test coverage per feature for release decisions based on measurable confidence
• ▹Continuously improve the automation strategy and process: reduce flakiness, close coverage gaps, cut repetitive manual regression
• ▹Bring AI/LLM tools into test case design, automation scripting and exploratory testing

Requirements

• ▹At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• ▹Senior-level QA experience: owned quality for real features or products, made own calls on testing strategy and been accountable for the outcome
