Backend Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement scalable and robust backend services
• ▹Develop APIs and integrate third-party services and Solana RPCs
• ▹Manage databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ensure data integrity and security
• ▹Implement caching with Redis for better performance
• ▹Use Prisma for database access and management
• ▹Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (DigitalOcean, Google Cloud Platform)
• ▹Use BullJS for background job processing and Cron for scheduled tasks
• ▹Write unit and integration tests with Jest
• ▹Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members
• ▹Design and implement a microservices architecture

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of backend development experience with web2/web3 technologies
• ▹Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and Prisma
• ▹Experience with cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, DigitalOcean) and DevOps practices
• ▹Unit and integration testing with Jest
• ▹Knowledge of event-based architecture, microservices design patterns and designing scalable systems
• ▹Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• ▹Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with blockchain technologies, specifically Solana
• ▹Machine learning concepts and experience applying them to real-world problems
• ▹Experience designing and optimizing backends for large volumes of data
