Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and deliver sustainable, scalable, reliable and well-tested software into a secure cloud infrastructure.
• ▹Advocate for and implement testing best practices, promoting a quality-driven and testable mindset in the team.
• ▹Foster a collaborative environment where everyone shares responsibility for quality and testing from the outset of a project.
• ▹Guide the team during planning and refinement sessions to understand and estimate test efforts and identify dependencies.
• ▹Pair with software engineers during development and code review to ensure appropriate test coverage and avoid duplicated effort.
• ▹Develop and maintain tools for integration, regression, load, performance and security testing.
• ▹Investigate the root cause of complex issues by analysing logs, databases and system behaviour.

Requirements

• ▹A strong track record of advocating modern software testing practices and mentoring engineers to build an automation-first testing culture.
• ▹Deep experience developing and maintaining automated test suites across the whole testing pyramid: unit, component, integration, end-to-end, load and performance testing.
• ▹Proficiency in diverse testing strategies (TDD, BDD, black/white box), mocking and stubbing, test data management and test results reporting.
• ▹Hands-on experience with native Go testing packages and UI frameworks such as Playwright.

Nice to have

• ▹Proficiency in another programming language is acceptable: Go will be taught to committed candidates.
