Responsibilities

• ▹Drive the successful delivery and execution of projects within your teams
• ▹Manage end-to-end technical planning, translating product requirements into actionable tasks
• ▹Orchestrate collaboration between engineers, product managers, QA, and UX
• ▹Maintain high technical standards and manage team bandwidth
• ▹Ensure project milestones are met with efficiency and accuracy
• ▹Evaluate business and product requirements for technical feasibility and architectural alignment, translating them into well-defined EPICs and technical user stories
• ▹Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to refine, groom, and prioritize the backlog
• ▹Plan and drive sprint execution with clearly defined goals, timelines, and delivery milestones, surfacing dependencies early
• ▹Champion engineering processes and rituals that enable collaboration, accountability, and efficiency
• ▹Monitor team velocity and capacity to optimize resource allocation
• ▹Coordinate cross-team dependencies and stakeholder alignment to remove bottlenecks
• ▹Stay hands-on in critical initiatives, guiding design decisions and participating in code reviews
• ▹Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and observability, consistently meeting defined SLIs and SLOs
• ▹Partner with Product Managers to define, track, and publish post-release product metrics

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• ▹8-10 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar hands-on technical role
• ▹5+ years of strong experience building production systems using Java and Spring Boot
• ▹Minimum 3 years of proven engineering leadership experience managing high-performing teams
• ▹Solid grasp of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming
• ▹Demonstrated ability to translate complex product requirements into well-structured EPICs and user stories
