Cloud Orchestration Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, configure, manage and further develop the Cloud Orchestrator (HPE Morpheus Enterprise software) and the Morpheus IT infrastructure requirements
• ▹Program and manage Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code for automated creation of Morpheus instances and configurations
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with Morpheus and its integrations with IT infrastructure
• ▹Ensure security implementation (Techspecs/CIS/STIG) and compliance with cloud orchestration best practices
• ▹Perform and maintain test and acceptance management
• ▹Document and maintain configurations and procedures (configuration, management and security dossiers)
• ▹Work with the networking, Nutanix virtualization, operating systems, DNS-DHCP-IP, Active Directory, ServiceNow (ITSM) and Ansible Automation Platform teams

Requirements

• ▹At least 3 years of Linux system administration experience
• ▹Strong knowledge of cloud management
• ▹Experience with Ansible scripting (playbooks)
• ▹Experience with scripting and automation (e.g. GitLab, Python, Terraform, REST API)
• ▹Experience with virtualization and orchestration (e.g. Nutanix Cloud Clustering / Morpheus or similar such as AWS / Azure)
• ▹Strong knowledge of network protocols and security principles
• ▹At least 1 year of demonstrable work experience in a cloud environment
• ▹At least 2 years of demonstrable work experience in enterprise environments
• ▹Dutch nationality and a Dutch passport, required to work for the customer
• ▹A VGB-B (Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar, level B) is required

Nice to have

• ▹Demonstrable experience programming Infrastructure as Code
• ▹Demonstrable Nutanix experience
• ▹Demonstrable Red Hat Ansible experience
• ▹Demonstrable scripting and automation experience
• ▹Demonstrable experience with AWS / Azure or comparable clouds
• ▹One or more cloud certifications is a plus
• ▹HPE Advanced Product Certified: Morpheus Enterprise Software Administrator, Automation Specialist, Engineer
