Kotlin Multiplatform Software Architect – Northstar

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Continuously develop the app platform based on Kotlin Multiplatform together with other architects
• ▹Support product teams building on the platform through consulting, documentation, and technical support
• ▹Design modern, intuitive UI and platform components with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform
• ▹Contribute ideas and develop innovative technical concepts in close coordination with Product Owners and UX
• ▹Help define technical requirements (e.g. platform components, automated tests, build processes) with the overall strategy in mind
• ▹Support effort estimation and technical planning

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in a STEM field or comparable qualification with relevant work experience
• ▹Several years of experience in software architecture/development for mobile applications, ideally with a cross-platform focus
• ▹Very good Kotlin skills, ideally with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform experience
• ▹Solid practice with common tools and methods such as Android Studio, IntelliJ, Jira/Confluence, dependency injection, unit testing, and test automation
• ▹Experience with agile ways of working such as Scrum or Kanban
