Senior Java Developer – Web Technologies (Remote)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Advise on and implement high-performance software solutions
• ▹Communicate clearly with clients on both technical and business topics
• ▹Work with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• ▹Translate business requirements into maintainable services and UIs
• ▹Set up and maintain release-dependent Payara domains and container environments including Oracle DB
• ▹Plan and execute deployments (test + PROD); DevOps tasks such as monitoring, incident handling, and performance optimization

Requirements

• ▹At least 8 years of relevant experience in Java software development
• ▹Kubernetes & Rancher, Spring, Payara & Quarkus, Oracle DB, Kafka, Angular
• ▹Jenkins, Git, Grafana or Dynatrace experience
• ▹Testing experience with Pact, JUnit, Jasmine, Karma
• ▹Experience with Kanban, Jira, Confluence
• ▹Cloud infrastructure knowledge (at least one: AWS, Azure, OpenShift)
• ▹Very good German and good English skills

Nice to have

• ▹Test Driven Development
• ▹Familiarity with multiple design patterns
• ▹Willingness to work on-site at client locations
