Java Backend Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and extend backend systems using modern Java technologies
• ▹Design and implement new features in close collaboration with the frontend team
• ▹Design and integrate APIs with internal and external systems
• ▹Optimize existing applications for performance, security, and scalability
• ▹Implement automated tests and ensure software quality
• ▹Work closely with product owners and UX designers in agile (Scrum) teams

Requirements

• ▹Solid experience in Java backend development (ideally with Spring Boot)
• ▹Writing clean, maintainable code as a matter of course
• ▹Designing and implementing APIs and microservices
• ▹Good understanding of databases (relational and NoSQL)
• ▹Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
• ▹Good German and/or English skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
