Senior QA Automation Engineer, Network Simulation Platform

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Simulate and test full-scale network architectures across multiple network OSs
• ▹Validate simulation configurations against real-world physical setups
• ▹Review architecture designs and requirements for new features
• ▹Design and implement end-to-end tests for new features
• ▹Report, document, reproduce bugs; verify bug fixes
• ▹Perform regression, performance, functional, and security testing
• ▹Design and maintain automated tests and framework APIs in Python

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of QA and/or networking experience
• ▹Solid networking knowledge (switching, routing)
• ▹Strong Python and Linux Bash automation/scripting skills
• ▹Python OOP and pytest/Playwright-based automation
• ▹Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• ▹Confident written and verbal English communication

Nice to have

• ▹CCNA and/or ISTQB or similar certification
• ▹Python automation with source control (Git/SVN)
• ▹In-depth Linux/kernel knowledge (LPIC-2 level)
• ▹Experience with virtualization environments (KVM, VMware, ESXi)
