Responsibilities

• ▹Build and optimize machine learning models
• ▹Research, analyze, and document findings
• ▹Deliver production-grade ML services powering the ConnectWise platform
• ▹Design and maintain machine learning infrastructure
• ▹Inform and influence product decisions and launches
• ▹Work with cross-functional teams to ensure proper data pipelines

Requirements

• ▹Ability to work independently on projects and processes
• ▹Broad theoretical knowledge of ML/AI and generative AI application development (SFT, DPO, RFT, LoRA/QLoRA)
• ▹Experience fine-tuning encoder models (e.g. BERT/ModernBERT) for text classification
• ▹Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods
• ▹Strong grasp of model evaluation methodology (eval sets, LLM-as-judge, offline metrics, A/B testing)
• ▹Experience building training-data, synthetic-data, and distillation pipelines
• ▹Strong Python skills and fluency with Hugging Face Transformers, TRL, PEFT, Sentence-Transformers, scikit-learn
• ▹Proficient in SQL and/or other data manipulation languages
• ▹Knowledge of big data processing tools such as Apache Spark
• ▹Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
• ▹Knowledge of at least one cloud platform (e.g. AWS: EMR, S3, SageMaker)
• ▹Ability to translate business requirements into ML deliverables
• ▹Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varying audiences

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
