Sanity.io has several pre-sales Solutions Engineer roles open, ranging from Senior to Staff level, with the final level determined during the interview process. You will be the technical brain behind some of Sanity's most complex enterprise deals, owning the full pre-sales journey from first strategic engagement through architecture scoping, proof of concept, and onboarding, working shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Engagement. Beyond the deals, you will build the tools, frameworks, and enablement materials the wider SE team relies on, and mentor other Solutions Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Architect and lead complex demos for enterprise prospects and strategic partners that win deals
  • ▹Own the technical narrative in any room, from C-suite boardrooms to deep-dive engineering sessions
  • ▹Educate customers on Sanity's platform at an advanced level: capabilities, philosophy, and the strategic case for structured content at scale
  • ▹Guide customers through RFPs, architecture reviews, and proof of concepts
  • ▹Build and maintain showcase implementations, advanced enablement programs, and best practice guides
  • ▹Share deep engineering expertise across complex verticals and troubleshoot when things get tricky
  • ▹Represent strategic customer requirements to product and engineering, influencing the roadmap
  • ▹Mentor the broader SE team and raise the bar for technical excellence

Requirements

  • ▹5+ years in enterprise solution selling, including Fortune 500 accounts and cross-functional decision-makers up to C-level
  • ▹Strong coding skills: JavaScript, React, APIs, JSON, Git, with the ability to design and demonstrate working technical solutions
  • ▹Proven discovery skills: leading a room, uncovering real pain, and mapping it to a path forward
  • ▹Familiarity with CMS and content operations, and genuine curiosity about where AI fits in
