IT System Engineer - Cloud & Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• ▹Oversee and continuously optimize a hybrid Microsoft system landscape with a focus on cloud technologies
• ▹Administer core Microsoft 365 services as well as user and identity management (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID)
• ▹Ensure reliable data backup and system recovery
• ▹Operate, maintain, and develop the network, storage, and security infrastructure
• ▹Set up and manage secure network connections and protective mechanisms
• ▹Administer virtualized server landscapes and ensure stable operations
• ▹Independently plan and implement IT infrastructure projects, including documentation
• ▹Analyze and resolve technical issues in 2nd-level support
• ▹Coordinate with external IT partners and contribute to procurement and licensing topics

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT vocational training or a comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of experience operating and administering Windows-based IT infrastructures
• ▹Very good knowledge of Microsoft cloud and collaboration solutions as well as modern identity and endpoint management systems
• ▹Experience building secure IT environments, including network and security components
• ▹Practical experience administering virtualized server landscapes as well as storage and backup solutions

Nice to have

• ▹Basic scripting knowledge
• ▹Experience with ticketing and documentation systems
