Senior Azure Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design highly available Azure networking solutions using ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, BGP, Azure Firewall, and Private Link
• ▹Design next-level monitoring solutions using KQL, Azure Workbooks, Alerts, and Azure Connection Monitor
• ▹Modernize network security architecture: Azure Firewall Premium, Network Security Group strategy, micro-segmentation
• ▹Drive infrastructure automation, including exploring an AI-driven "Infrastructure as Prompt" approach
• ▹Design governance guardrails that can evolve into Azure Policies and Blueprints
• ▹Develop disaster recovery strategies and design automated failover testing
• ▹Build an intelligent security platform integrating Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for automated threat detection
• ▹Collaborate across infrastructure, cloud, and security teams, connecting Azure, GCP, and Sophos-based networks
• ▹Explore Zero Trust Network Access technologies (Microsoft Entra Private Access, Global Secure Access)

Requirements

• ▹Deep expertise in Azure networking: Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, BGP, Private Link, enterprise Hub & Spoke architectures
• ▹Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, KQL, Azure Monitor, and cloud observability
• ▹Willingness to challenge existing architectures and passion for emerging technologies
