Cloud Solution Design Engineer

Key performance indicators Design and Delivers Infrastructure within Local market timescales Meet or exceed Capex targets Timeliness and Quality in the solution Design and Delivery Data centre infrastructure, cloud computing and virtualization architectures (Telco) Customer oriented and systematic way of working Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and change Strong individual applied thinking Degree qualified At least 4 years professional experience in cloud and virtualization Expert in data centre infrastructure, cloud computing and virtualization architectures (IT and Telco) design and delivery Solid understanding of virtualization (VMWare/ Openshift Cloud Platform) and containerization (Kubernetes) Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols (ie. BGP / ISIS / OSPF) Experience with kubernetes networking (CNIs, Service Mesh, Network Policies, Ingress/Egress) Scripting expertise is preferred (Power CLI, Powershell, Python, )
