BI DEVELOPMENT & IT SUPPORT INTERN

SOCOTEC VIETNAM is a technical support platform for the SOCOTEC Group providing expert services on a range of projects in testing, inspection and certification (TIC) in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Around the globe, more than 15,000 experts in 26 countries across 5 continents deliver professional services in construction, buildings & real estate, infrastructures, environment & safety and certification.

We are currently expanding our ENGINEERING SERVICES and are looking for a BI Development & IT Support Intern to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients

1. BI Development (Hands-on experience required)

• Support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's Power BI reporting system across multiple departments
• Assist in maintaining and developing applications and automation solutions using Excel VBA and Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Power BI and Power Automate.
• Support data collection, validation, transformation, and basic analysis to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and enhance existing dashboards and reports
• Perform other ad-hoc data analysis and administrative tasks as assigned by management

2. IT Support (No prior experience required)

• Assist the IT Manager in coordinating daily IT operations and providing technical support to engineers and office staff, ensuring timely resolution and proper escalation when necessary.
• Support the purchase, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Help manage user accounts, access permissions, software licenses, and the IT asset inventory.
• Maintain IT documentation, technical records, and reports, and assist with IT-related matters as required.

- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

- Abilities to work with data visualization tools Power BI are required (Having PL300 certificate would be a strong advantage)

- Having project/experience working with Power Automate Cloud or having completed a Power Automate online course would be a strong advantage

- Proficient in using Excel and understand basic data concepts (tables, relationships, data types)

- Knowing Excel VBA programming and having basic knowledge of Power Query (M)

- Able to work with Python (Especially in using Pandas for ETL data process)

- English Speaking is a plus

- Good logical thinking, problem solving, willingness to learn & receive feedback

- Able to work full-time from Mon-Friday is preferable

- Attractive allowance upto 5 mil/month
