OpenStack Cloud Engineer

We’re looking for an OpenStack Cloud Engineer to help build, operate, and optimise the core services of a large‑scale, sovereign cloud platform. You’ll work across Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, automation, and open‑source components to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available environment. Requirements: Hands‑on production experience with OpenStack (especially Cinder and Nova ) Deep knowledge of Linux systems administration and cloud infrastructure , extending into Linux internals (kernel subsystems, process and memory management, networking stack) and virtualizatio n (KVM, QEMU, OpenStack, Open vSwitch) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build management, and release processes Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Good command of English Nice to have: Programming skills in Python and/or Go OpenStack upstream contribution experience is a plus Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow Experience running Kubernetes in production Potential responsibilities: Develop and maintain OpenStack Cinder block storage services. Develop and maintain OpenStack Nova compute services. Build and maintain automation workflows using Python and/or Go. Operate and administer Linux-based cloud infrastructure.
