OneStream Finance Transformation Lead – Consolidation

The Opportunity

Join EY GDS Poland’s Finance Consulting Practice, where you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our OneStream capabilities. As a Senior Manager, you will lead complex OneStream-enabled finance transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on financial consolidation, statutory and management reporting, and the group close. You will develop internal competency, provide solution leadership across the implementation lifecycle, and support go-to-market efforts to position EY as a trusted OneStream transformation partner.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Competency Building: Build and expand the OneStream capability within the team through training, coaching, delivery assets, methodologies, and reusable accelerators.
• Transformation Leadership: Lead end-to-end OneStream transformation programs, from strategy and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Consolidation Solution Design: Design and oversee solutions for group consolidation, ownership structures, currency translation, intercompany matching and elimination, journals, allocations, minority interest, and equity accounting.
• Close and Reporting: Improve the financial close and reporting process, including statutory, management, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• OneStream Implementation: Provide functional and solution leadership for OneStream applications, workflows, business rules, data integration, controls, security, dashboards, and reporting.
• Client Advisory: Translate finance requirements into a scalable OneStream architecture and advise clients on process standardization, governance, operating model, and roadmap decisions.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Shape OneStream offerings, support proposals and RFPs, estimate delivery effort, and present EY’s value proposition to prospective clients.
• Quality and Delivery Governance: Manage scope, risks, dependencies, quality, and senior stakeholder expectations across complex programs.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, strengthening both OneStream platform expertise and consolidation process knowledge.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• OneStream Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of OneStream, including application design, workflows, dimensions, cubes, business rules, data integration, security, reporting, and deployment.
• Financial Consolidation: Strong knowledge of legal and management consolidation, ownership and control, currency translation, intercompany reconciliation and elimination, journals, cash flow, and group reporting.
• Accounting Knowledge: Sound understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP requirements relevant to consolidation and external reporting.
• Finance Process Design: Ability to redesign close, consolidation, and reporting processes and translate them into effective system requirements and controls.
• Consulting Skills: Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, requirements management, and project delivery capabilities.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and drive strategic initiatives in complex environments.
• Stakeholder Management: Skilled in engaging CFO, Group Finance, Controlling, Accounting, IT, and other senior stakeholders.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, workshop facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

• Experience: 7+ years in finance transformation, consolidation, group reporting, or EPM consulting.
• OneStream Delivery: Significant hands-on experience delivering OneStream implementations, including at least one end-to-end implementation in a lead functional, solution, or program role.
• Consolidation Experience: Demonstrated experience designing or implementing complex consolidation processes for multinational groups.
• Solution Leadership: Ability to convert business and accounting requirements into a robust OneStream solution design and delivery roadmap.
• Program Leadership: Demonstrated success leading teams, workstreams, and complex client engagements.
• Client Engagement: Strong track record in senior client-facing roles and strategic finance technology advisory.

Good to Have Experience/Exposure

• OneStream Certification: Relevant OneStream certification or formal platform training.
• Extended OneStream Capabilities: Experience with planning, forecasting, account reconciliations, transaction matching, tax provisioning, ESG reporting, or other OneStream solutions.
• Technology Integration: Experience integrating OneStream with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, other ERPs, data warehouses, and master data solutions.
• Accounting Standards: Practical experience with IFRS consolidation and reporting; US GAAP or additional local GAAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Global Experience: Experience managing cross-border projects and working with global finance organizations.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in German or French.
