Senior AI Engineer

About the Role Join an engineering team building AI-powered productivity software. You will focus on two core challenges: scaling backend systems and improving the reliability and efficiency of LLM and AI agent workflows that support the product. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain backend services that can scale as product usage grows. Optimize LLM integrations and AI agent orchestration for reliability and efficiency in production. Take ownership of technical challenges and ship improvements that positively affect platform performance and user experience. What We're Looking For Typically 8 to 10 or more years of relevant engineering experience, with a substantial hands-on coding and software delivery track record. Strong backend engineering experience building scalable systems. Practical experience optimizing LLM and AI agent workflows in production environments. Experience in a fast-growing startup is preferred, along with motivation to work in a fast-paced team. A portfolio of side projects or other work demonstrating technical depth, sustained curiosity, ownership, and commitment to craft. Must be legally able to work on-site in Stockholm, including relocating if needed. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is $80,000 to $120,000 USD annually, plus equity. The salary and equity mix is negotiable, with flexibility for exceptionally senior candidates. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location On-site in Stockholm, Sweden.
