Your Role

As a Digital / Mobile QA Analyst at Capgemini, you will be responsible for validating customer-facing web and mobile solutions across iOS and Android platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless digital experiences by testing core retail and restaurant transactions, validating integrations, and supporting high-quality releases through structured testing and defect management practices.

This role requires strong experience in mobile and digital application testing, transaction validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance processes. You will work closely with product owners, developers, business stakeholders, and support teams to ensure applications meet functional, operational, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile digital platforms.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing across iOS and Android applications.
• Validate integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty and rewards platforms, and back-office applications.
• Conduct end-to-end transaction testing covering:
  • Cash transactions
  • Credit and debit card payments
  • Mobile wallets
  • Discounts and promotions
  • Returns and refunds
  • Voids and transaction reversals
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Execute test scenarios across QA, UAT, and pre-production environments.
• Analyze application behavior and debug issues using mobile diagnostic and logging tools.
• Validate backend transactions and data integrity through database queries and system verification.
• Ensure testing activities comply with organizational standards, business requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare detailed testing reports, defect summaries, quality metrics, and release recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and testing efficiency.

Your Profile

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in functional testing of mobile and digital applications.
• Strong experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of retail and restaurant transaction workflows.
• Experience executing functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Hands-on experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Experience using Xcode, Logcat, ADB, StackTrace, and related troubleshooting tools.
• Experience using HTTP proxy and network monitoring tools such as Charles Proxy and Fiddler.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques for backend testing.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

• Experience validating payment systems and omnichannel customer journeys.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and automation-driven testing practices.
• Experience testing loyalty and rewards platforms.
