As a Qualcomm Machine Learning Engineer, you will create and implement machine learning techniques, frameworks, and tools that enable the efficient discovery and utilization of state-of-the-art machine learning solutions over a broad set of technology verticals or designs. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the world of mobile, edge, auto, and IOT products through machine learning hardware and software. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. # Daily Duties: * Collaborate in the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered capabilities that advance Nimbus product objectives and address customer needs. * Contribute to the development, evaluation, and deployment of AI and Generative AI solutions supporting network optimization, Digital Twin technologies, and other strategic AI-driven products. * Work closely with engineering, product, and domain experts to translate business and customer requirements into practical AI-enabled solutions. * Communicate technical concepts, project status, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Stay current with emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and best practices, identifying opportunities to apply them across Nimbus initiatives. * Apply sound software engineering and AI development practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions. # Minimum Qualifications: * Working knowledge of modern AI/ML concepts, including model development, evaluation, deployment, and operationalization. * Experience delivering AI-enabled software products or features from concept through production deployment. * Familiarity with AI concepts, agentic AI frameworks, knowledge management systems, and other LLM-based applications. * Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field. # Preferred Qualifications: * 1+ years of hands-on experience developing, fine-tuning, or deploying AI/ML models. * M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline. * Experience with cloud-based AI platforms, MLOps practices, data engineering, or large-scale data processing systems. * Familiarity with telecommunications, wireless networking, Digital Twin technologies, network automation, or intelligent network-management systems. * Experience with Generative AI, agentic systems, multi-agent frameworks, LLM applications, or AI-assisted software development. * Demonstrated interest in emerging AI technologies and their application to real-world engineering and product challenges. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
