R&I Avionics System Engineer

Working on cutting-edge European innovation projects you explore, challenge, and define high-level architecture while collaborating with OEMs and multidisciplinary teams. This is a role for someone who thrives on big-picture thinking, technical depth, and shaping what’s next , not just building systems, but reimagining them. Your responsibilities You lead and contribute to the execution of research and innovation projects and programs. You perform studies, trade-off analyses, and system-level assessments. You actively contribute to research and development activities within the innovation group. You define high-level avionics system architectures. You translate aircraft-level requirements into equipment and system solutions. You act as the interface between aircraft systems, avionics equipment, and embedded electronics. You collaborate with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and external system partners. You work closely with electronics, software, display, and project management teams. You support alignment between customer requirements and technical solutions. You contribute to multidisciplinary discussions and technical decision-making. You report to the R&D manager.
