Join us in developing and improving SALOG, our global Air & Sea Logistics IT System that supports Kuehne+Nagel's operations worldwide. As an IT Systems Analyst, you will act as the link between business stakeholders, development teams, and QA, helping transform business needs into scalable technology solutions. You will work across both business and technical domains, driving the continuous evolution of systems that support global logistics operations.

How you create impact

• Act as the key liaison between business units, development teams, and QA teams.
• Gather, analyze, prioritize, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and solution designs.
• Design detailed functional specifications and support the definition of end-to-end business processes.
• Work closely with solution architects to shape application design and functional concepts.
• Support developers and testers by clarifying requirements and ensuring a shared understanding of specifications.
• Facilitate alignment meetings and workshops with business and technical teams.
• Plan releases and milestones together with business stakeholders.

What we would like you to bring

• Experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Functional Design, or a similar role within complex software environments.
• Ability to work comfortably across both business and technical topics on a day-to-day basis.
• Experience writing user stories, requirements, and functional specifications independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to requirements engineering.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate discussions between business and IT.
• Experience with specification frameworks or documentation approaches such as AsciiDoc is a nice to have.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to present, negotiate, and build relationships across global teams.
