Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer

At fair parken, one of Germany's leading smart parking solution providers, you will take early ownership of key analytics topics and data-driven questions as a Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses for various departments (Operations, quality management, controlling, customers)
  • Analyze complex relationships across multiple data sources and present findings clearly
  • Evolve recurring analyses into structured, traceable data logic
  • Own reporting and evaluation workflows, including regular reports and custom analyses
  • Translate complex business requirements into data queries, data models, and meaningful analyses
  • Support monthly reporting and market analyses

Requirements

  • Degree in mathematics, business, engineering, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in an analytical role (e.g. Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer)
  • Very good SQL skills for analysis and data validation
  • Strong analytical mindset, translating business questions into structured, meaningful analyses
  • Experience with multi-step analyses across multiple data sources and larger datasets
  • Solid Python skills for ETL/ELT processes, analysis, and automation

Nice to have

  • Experience with dbt or similar SQL-based transformation tools
  • Familiarity with Git
