Responsibilities

• ▹Prepare and conduct consulting sessions, workshops, proof of concepts, and trainings around Microsoft Data, BI & Analytics services
• ▹Integrate data from various sources (streaming, APIs, sensor data, SQL databases)
• ▹Design and implement Data Lake architectures using SQL, NoSQL, and Hadoop/Spark
• ▹Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to process and refine data
• ▹Design and implement logging and monitoring mechanisms
• ▹Perform project management tasks: effort estimation, project and resource planning, project leadership and communication

Requirements

• ▹At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering (SQL, Spark, Data Lakes)
• ▹Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• ▹Openness to interdisciplinary work spanning business and IT
• ▹Hands-on mentality, team-player mindset, willingness to share knowledge

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in a programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java
• ▹Experience with agile project management methods such as SCRUM
