Snr Account Executive - Security

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is searching for a Security Enterprise Account Executive to expand its Enterprise and Strategic customer accounts in France. The role focuses on building new business and growing the Elastic Security footprint within top accounts, centred on SIEM, Security Analytics, Endpoint Security and Cloud Security solutions. Acting as both player and coach, the AE leads and owns security revenue for the region while mentoring Account Executives. The typical on-target earnings range (base plus variable) is EUR 157,000-248,400.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and build awareness of Elastic Security solutions in new accounts, acting as both player and coach to Account Executives
  • Build relationships with security leaders across the region and customer accounts
  • Mentor and coach Account Executives to position Elastic Security offerings and drive expansion within existing customers
  • Manage opportunities to closure based on account and opportunity strategy
  • Oversee and own security revenue forecasting for the region
  • Respond to customer requests for quotes and proposals with regional teams
  • Mentor and oversee customer Elastic Security proof of concept/value engagements
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects on account planning, strategy and demos
  • Track cybersecurity opportunities with regional sales leadership
  • Partner with Regional Marketing to drive pipeline through webinars and workshops
  • Build relationships with Elastic Security Product and Engineering teams to stay informed and ensure customer success

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of selling Security solutions related to SIEM
  • Proven track record in SaaS subscription sales, particularly in complex accounts, with quota overachievement and strong customer references
  • Adept at building relationships and establishing credibility with both developers and executives
  • Consistent and accurate sales forecasting using SFDC
  • Enthusiasm for the Open Source model and appreciation for the community relying on the solutions
  • Prior experience selling into Enterprise accounts in this territory
