Experienced Programmer - Mobile

Responsibilities

• ▹Adapt and extend existing and future code to meet mobile game development requirements, including platform-specific build, optimization and deployment pipelines
• ▹Maintain and update third-party SDKs and libraries used in the mobile codebase for stability and compatibility
• ▹Investigate and implement optimizations to the game's codebase from a mobile perspective (performance, memory usage, platform-specific constraints)
• ▹Support packaging, certification and deployment of games to mobile storefronts
• ▹Work cross-functionally with artists and designers to align workflows and technical decisions across mobile and PC/console platforms

Requirements

• ▹Several years of professional experience in mobile game development
• ▹Strong background in C++
• ▹Good knowledge of Unreal Engine (4 and 5)
• ▹Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• ▹Experience with multiplayer games
• ▹Having shipped a game title before
• ▹Experience optimizing games in terms of graphical fidelity and performance

Coffee Stain North is a small game developer based in Stockholm, part of the Coffee Stain Group. Founded in 2013, the studio has grown to 34 employees and is now looking to add new team members. It develops Goat Simulator 3, a third-person sandbox adventure game released in 2022.
