Responsibilities

  • ▹Collaborate closely with geographically dispersed teams in New York, London and India
  • ▹Work directly with users and business analysts to translate requirements into technical architecture
  • ▹Build scalable, intuitive enterprise-wide data models and services for listed products
  • ▹Implement appropriate caching and messaging technologies
  • ▹Manage a team of 2-3 members

Requirements

  • ▹At least 7+ years of relevant experience
  • ▹Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science
  • ▹Ample understanding of Java and open-source frameworks (Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
  • ▹Cloud-native design experience including microservices, SPARK, Kafka, and a public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • ▹Database development and debugging with stored procedures (Sybase and/or DB2)
  • ▹NoSQL experience (preferably MongoDB), database design and modeling

Nice to have

  • ▹Understanding of Python
  • ▹Familiarity with Agile and DevOps
  • ▹Integration middleware and Service Oriented Architecture experience
