Software Developer (Intermediate)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain scalable, secure and compliant web applications and supporting services using Node.js, Express, EJS, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, MongoDB
• ▹Collaborate with product managers, designers, support teams and other developers to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
• ▹Deliver clean, efficient, readable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
• ▹Responsibly leverage AI-assisted development tools to augment software development workflows
• ▹Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, including frontend, backend, and database layers
• ▹Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs
• ▹Drive the implementation of projects, features and enhancements through deployment and ongoing maintenance
• ▹Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• ▹3+ years of experience developing web applications
• ▹Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies
• ▹Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and responsive development
• ▹Experience using MongoDB
• ▹Experience with templating engines or templated web frameworks such as EJS
• ▹Experience writing automated tests
• ▹Experience using AI-assisted development tools
• ▹Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple layers of the application stack
• ▹Proven ability to work independently
• ▹General understanding of IT infrastructure and networking principles
• ▹Willingness to provide Tier 3 support as needed

Nice to have

• ▹Experience building developer-facing front-end integration libraries or SDKs
