Corporate IT Technician

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage help-desk tickets, tracking hardware and software requests through to resolution
• ▹Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues for employees
• ▹Support employees via in-person, phone, email, Slack, and video conferencing
• ▹Communicate status updates during broad or organization-wide issues
• ▹Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner, escalating to supervisor and stakeholders as needed
• ▹Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system
• ▹Maintain and prioritize the internal ticketing queue within established SLAs
• ▹Onboard and offboard users in corporate software systems in a timely manner
• ▹Regularly audit corporate software systems to confirm or revise user access
• ▹Maintain an accurate inventory of installed and cloud-based software assets, generating reports as needed
• ▹Administer the organization's MDM software and support enrolled devices
• ▹Ensure continuous deployment and health of EDR/SOC agents across endpoints, triage alerts, escalate complex incidents
• ▹Inspect technological equipment usage to ensure functionality
• ▹Procure approved hardware, install endpoint protection, ensure anti-virus/anti-malware/EDR security
• ▹Configure, deploy, maintain, and retire workstations, peripherals, and related hardware through the asset lifecycle
• ▹Execute IT security policies and procedures, monitor and remediate endpoint compliance, escalate security issues

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of combined post-secondary education and/or professional experience in a computer-related or IT field
• ▹Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware, software, networks)
• ▹Strong interpersonal and communication skills with local and remote employees/contractors
• ▹Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
• ▹Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• ▹Strong writing skills, able to explain technical concepts in simple terms
• ▹Proven track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• ▹Ability to work independently while meeting internal schedules and deadlines
• ▹Located in the Indianapolis area, hybrid with at least 2 days a week on-site
