Staff Product Manager (AI & Data)

Bugcrowd's Staff Product Manager, AI & Data owns the vision, strategy and roadmap for the company's data and intelligence backbone, turning raw test results (vulnerability scans, pentests, bug bounty/VDP submissions) into validated, correlated and prioritized intelligence. The role sits at the intersection of data engineering, security operations, and applied AI/ML.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the AI & Data pillar
  • Design and scale an automated triage and deduplication capability across all test types
  • Build data models and pipelines that aggregate and correlate validated findings
  • Develop prioritization and diagnosis logic to surface the highest-impact issues
  • Partner with engineering to turn diagnoses into actionable recommendations (code fixes, detection rules, threat hunting queries)
  • Work with the Agentic Products team to feed new attack vectors back into agent training
  • Define and own trust metrics: validation accuracy, deduplication rate, time-to-diagnosis

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally spanning both security/threat data and ML/data platform domains
  • Data-minded systems thinker comfortable with data models, pipelines, and dedup/correlation logic
  • Security domain fluency across vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and bug bounty/VDP
  • Strategic leadership experience with the ability to build trust at executive level
  • Tactical execution balancing long-term vision with shipping trustworthy improvements today

Nice to have

  • Detection engineering familiarity (SIEM/Splunk-style rules, threat hunting queries)
  • ML/AI experience for data correlation (entity resolution, dedup, anomaly detection, risk scoring)
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and bug bounty/VDP program mechanics
  • Active use of AI-native tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor)

What we offer

  • Base pay range: $145,440–$181,800 (US national average)
  • Eligible for discretionary bonus or commission plan
