SAP HANA Cloud developer - 6 Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Cloud Developer to design, develop, and optimize cloud-native applications and database solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP HANA Cloud, SQLScript, CAP, and cloud application development, with experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Develop database artifacts including tables, views, procedures, functions, calculation views, and SQLScript.
• Build cloud-native applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate SAP HANA Cloud with SAP and third-party applications.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Implement data modeling, security, authorization, and role management.
• Develop and maintain ETL/data integration processes using SAP Integration Suite or SDI/SDA.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and testing.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of SAP HANA development experience.
• Strong experience with SAP HANA Cloud.
• Expertise in SQL, SQLScript, CDS Views, and database modeling.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Hands-on experience with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Strong knowledge of Node.js or Java for CAP development.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 (preferred).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, OData services, and JSON/XML.
• Understanding of cloud security and authentication (OAuth, XSUAA).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Cloud Foundry.
• Exposure to SAP Build Process Automation or SAP Build Apps.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certifications in SAP HANA Cloud or SAP BTP are preferred
