Detection Engineer – Night Shift (Wed–Sat, 5pm–3am MST)

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze EDR telemetry, alerts, and log sources across Endpoint, Identity, Network, and Cloud/SaaS detection domains
• ▹Publish threats for customers with concise, high-fidelity communication on key indicators and remediation context
• ▹Improve the Detection Engineering workflow through orchestration and automation to manage high telemetry volumes

Requirements

• ▹Ability to work the required shift: Wednesday–Saturday, 5pm–3am MST
• ▹Strong experience in Endpoint (EDR) plus at least one other domain (Cloud/SaaS, Identity, Email, or Network detection)
• ▹Proficiency with query languages and EDR/security platform syntax (e.g. SQL or Lucene)
• ▹Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on use of AI tools to enhance daily workflows

Nice to have

• ▹Practical experience applying AI-driven tools or automated workflows to accelerate threat detection
• ▹Previous professional experience in a Red Team or offensive security capacity
• ▹Active involvement in the infosec community (blogging, webinars, conference talks)
