Product Manager, Billing Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Build solutions together with the team for finance, billing, and other financial services at Remote
• ▹Own the end-to-end experience, not just the software implementation
• ▹Lead complex solutions independently, without support from senior product team members
• ▹Manage internal expectations for complex projects while navigating prioritization decisions
• ▹Build an effective roadmap and strategy for the Finance product area
• ▹Break down strategic plans into near- and mid-term goals
• ▹Align the product roadmap with higher-level company problems
• ▹Become the subject matter expert for the product area
• ▹Ship improvements quickly and iteratively, seeking minimal solutions
• ▹Understand key business KPIs and align the team's work to them
• ▹Work with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to solve complex problems
• ▹Work asynchronously and transparently

Requirements

• ▹Prior experience as a product manager in billing/invoicing or similar, ideally at a high-growth company
• ▹Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code or similar tools — able to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional prototypes or small code changes with AI tooling
• ▹Great judgment on both strategic and tactical decisions
• ▹Demonstrable, self-driven results that moved a product in the right direction
• ▹Passion for building seamless, effective products even for complex challenges
• ▹Outstanding communication and collaboration skills across departments
• ▹Proficient English, both written and spoken
