Responsibilities

• ▹Further develop L2 and L3 VPN production models on routers and virtual routers, along with the required engineering tools
• ▹Provide integration support for these production models in network-related production systems
• ▹Participate in complex projects
• ▹Integrate configuration specifications into the 'Modular Configuration System'
• ▹Take responsibility for the 'Modular Configuration System' configurations and cross-service tasks
• ▹Participate in the development team for Netconf/Yang on the Modular Configuration System
• ▹Participate in engineering for 'Multi Service vSPE'
• ▹Engage in proactive architectural discussions with internal and external stakeholders
• ▹Provide integration support in IT systems
• ▹Provide LAB support
• ▹Adapt solutions to multi-cloud environments
• ▹Participate in engineering for large-scale network consolidations

Requirements

• ▹Degree (Bachelor of Arts/Science in Computer Science or similar) or completed subject-related vocational training, plus several years of professional experience
• ▹Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud computing (AWS, Equinix, Azure)
• ▹Detailed configuration knowledge in Routing & QoS, ideally at CCIE/JNCIE level
• ▹Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization
• ▹Strong understanding of hardware and software
• ▹Expert knowledge in implementation and rollout
• ▹Excellent knowledge of information technologies, IP technologies, and protocols
• ▹Several years of experience with a solution-oriented mindset and work approach
• ▹English at B2 level, spoken and written

Nice to have

• ▹Product knowledge of the DT Backbone
• ▹German at B1 level
