QA/QC Engineer(Steel Fabrication) | UAE

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Engineer with strong expertise in Steel Fabrication (Structural / Plate / Piping) for contracting companies involved in Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizer Plants, and Storage Tank Erection Projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance as per project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. F2F Interview in Kochi & Mumbai in 1st week of March. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP). Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO, etc.). Review and approve fabrication drawings, WPS, PQR, and welding procedures. Monitor and inspect fabrication activities including: Structural steel fabrication Plate works Piping fabrication Storage tank erection Conduct stage-wise inspections: Fit-up inspection Welding inspection Dimensional inspection Final inspection Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT). Liaise with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and consultants. Ensure proper documentation of quality records and reports. Prepare and submit QA/QC reports, NCRs, and corrective action reports. Conduct internal quality audits and toolbox talks related to quality. Ensure material traceability and review mill test certificates (MTCs). Support site erection and commissioning activities from quality perspective.
