Strategic AI Initiatives Intern

As a Strategic AI Initiatives Intern, you'll be a key contributor to the foundational AI and data systems that power internal operations and product offerings — building, testing, and deploying intelligent agents and data pipelines, reporting to the Strategic Initiatives and AI Enablement Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy custom AI agents and CLI tools that streamline internal processes and enable new strategic capabilities
  • Architect and refine RAG workflows, ensuring AI models have access to high-quality, relevant, and well-structured context
  • Deploy and maintain the data pipelines necessary to feed AI initiatives, ensuring data reliability and seamless integration
  • Own a specific strategic project, delivering a functional, documented, and measurable end product by the conclusion of the internship

Requirements

  • High degree of autonomy and a problem-solving mindset; researches, proposes solutions, and takes ownership of tasks from inception to completion
  • Hands-on experience building and interacting with CLI tools and autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents
  • Understanding of RAG mechanics; practical experience with embedding models, vector databases, and semantic search workflows
  • Proficiency in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting data pipelines
  • Prior relevant internship experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or data engineering
